Stash-busting #12 - Baby knit.

I have kept on knitting up the baby wool from my yarn stash, and have finished some tiny baby clothes. The baby wool is very soft and comfortable to knit with, and these small baby clothes are quick to knit up.
What's been finished is a little baby vest, a pair of socks and two pairs of mittens. Those tiny clothes are so nice and soft, and as I want them to be as comfortable as possible to wear for a little baby, I have been very careful when sewing together, and there are no decorations.

The pattern for the vest, or "soul warmer" as it is called in the pattern, and the socks were found here. (I knitted with two strands of yarn and larger sized needles).

And pattern for the baby mittens here (there is a link for the pattern in both English and Norwegian).

Tilsammen 96 gram.

As usual I have weighed the knitted items to find out how much yarn was spent. I think it is fun to add up and see how much yarn that get used up in a month.
Vest 34 grams, socks 25 grams, green mittens 18 grams and yellow mittens 19 grams. Total 96 grams.

Super cute, Hilde!! ♥ And also the colors are great. Baby clothes are always made up so nicely fast and they are so sweet, it's too bad that I don't have babies around to work for ;-)

Lucky babies! There is something so precious about baby booties. I love to see them, even though I'm old enough that my GREAT-grandchildren have passed the age to need them!

Thanks you all :) I loved reading all your kind words.

Mia and Yael: All the knitted baby items are gifts, there is no baby on the way in my closest family :)

These are so beautiful. I wish my little granddaughter was a tiny baby again so that I could knit them for her! The heart-shaped button is the perfect finishing touch.
